No stop signs, speed limit, Nobodys gonna slow me down ... Hey momma, look at me, I'm on my way to the promised land

Pages: 304 | Release Date: October 16, 2007

"Bloodfever" [Fever Series, Book 2] by Karen Marie Moning -- In this second novel, Mac is still racking up the number of people who are out to get her or who would love to blame her for any kind of wrongdoing. After recovering from her first fight with MallacĂ©, Mac has to deal with a vengeful woman, a seductive Fae prince, two curious cops, a merciless brother-of-a-mobster, a distraught father, and more all while still looking for the Sinsar Dubh (a million-year-old book that has the power to control what happens in both the Fae and human worlds). However, Mac isn’t as sweet as she originally was and has learned more about herself to stand up to those who’re out against her, along with possibly seeing whom she can trust. The only problem is everyone keeps changing out of the roles she wants to appointed them and it may be hard to keep up with whom is on what side of the good-versus-bad line, especially when everything isn’t always black and white.

5 out of 5 stars!! Sooo much better then the first book! Mac has developed into a great character! Plus ... my biggest issue with the first novel was all of the foreshadowing that made pauses throughout it, which is completely solved in this second novel. I mean there is foreshadowing still but the story keeps flowing around it, which I tremendously enjoyed! =0)
