My Book Summary : Seventeen years ago, Finn and Lyra shared a passionate love affair that got cut short when Finn's uncle started to learn about their relationship so, to protect Lyra, Finn broke up with her and broke her heart. However, since they are "enemies," with Finn being a werewolf and Lyra being a blood-born vampire, there wasn't much hope of their relationship working out between them to begin with.

Now, Lyra is back in Finn's life needing his help to save her--actually their--daughter from being kidnapped. Even with secrets and old/new wounds between them, they find that their passion and love for each other hasn't changed but will being allies be enough to save their daughter before it's too late?

My Book Review : 5 out of 5 stars! This fast-paced, action-packed, paranormal romance is one that will hold your attention and wish you could keep on reading even past the ending!!

Finn and Lyra are an unstoppable duo! They also, complete each other in a way that even though they've been separated for about seventeen years their relationship quickly picks up where they left off. It was fun to read about how Finn's pack would accept Lyra and how Lyra was able to hold her own against, almost, everything that came her way. In addition, I also enjoyed reading about this unique world that Ms. Reus created, along with its secondary characters. =0)

I can't wait to see where this series will take us next, and I'm hoping more information about Drake's background will come soon!

I recommend this novel to anyone who are fans of this author, who like paranormal romances, and to those who like stories involving werewolves and vampires!

As Lyra strode across the tiled floor, the swinging door opened and three she-wolves walked in. They all regarded her in surprise. Immediately the tallest of them, a blonde, lean, beautiful wolf narrowed her gaze. She crossed her arms over her chest and remained standing in front of the door. The other two; a redhead and a brunette who could compete for Miss Universe and win, both stepped to the side as if they didn't want to get in the middle of anything.
She didn't have time for bullshit. Keeping her eyes pinned to the she-wolf---because adverting her gaze would be a clear sign of submission to a female like this---she sidestepped the female.
The wolf moved lightening fast, remaining in front of her. "I don't care if you're fucking Finn, we'll never accept a vampire for an Alpha female."
Yeah, Lyra already knew that. She also knew that no amount of talking would get it through this female's head that she wasn't planning to make a move as head Alpha female. Once Finn knew the truth, the tiny dream of leading by his side that she'd buried impossibly deep, would completely disappear. It would never happen.

Moving with a vampiric speed borne of her blood line and the shot of power she'd just received from Finn, she punched right through the woman's chest and grabbed her heart. The room went deathly silent and the blonde stared at her with wide eyes, her mouth open and gasping from the raw pain that had finally caught up to her nerve endings.
