My Book Review : 5 out of 5 stars!! This plot was a typical one for a rockstar romance…
Rockstar meets woman who excites and challenges him. Said rockstar hooks woman to go on tour with him. They fall into a relationship that neither expected. Yet, the Band’s manager doesn’t like their relationship and sets out to destroy it at all costs.
…Like I said, it’s a typical plot. However, the all the characters were mesmerizing from the first page and enticed me to see how everything would turn out and I am SOOO HAPPY that I did! This novel is well worth reading!
InTENse! So intense that every time I had to stop reading the novel to get back to reality I was revved up there too. I’m not sure how Ms. Ryder kept up that intensity throughout this novel but she did and I’m still hot and bothered after finishing it. *hahaa* Plus, I LOVED the way she built up the background stories for all of Toxin’s band members, which makes me excited to see who will “tame” the other guys.
Now onto Kate (Katie) and Syon (The Marquis/Boyfriend). *happy sigh* Intense seems to be the word for this review and it goes perfectly for this couple. Both are so focused on being successes at their passions (Kate being a designer and Syon with Toxsin) that when they meet (and every moment afterwards) they are combustible. Syon is VERY dominant but in a way that thrills Kate in surprising ways, which makes her brake out of her good girl shell in more ways than one. In addition, I could not be happier with how they wrapped up their love story, because it was the perfect BANG at the end of the novel! I cannot wait to read Rock Steady (Book 2) to see who hooks into Ramsey and to see what these two are up too now. ♥
I HIGHLY recommend this novel and its series to those looking for a HOT erotic rockstar romance!

Drake was grinning from ear to ear. "Pub night," he exclaimed. "I need to hear English spoken correctly." His voice had taken on a very British accent.
"Just to be clear," Ramsey said to Drake, "I am not putting anything into my mouth called 'spotted dick.'"
"This from the man who encouraged me to have octopus?" she asked.
Ramsey grinned at her as they started to pile into an SUV. "Octopus is good for you. Spotted dick, not so sure."
"It's custard," Drake stated like a schoolmaster. "And I've seen some of the things you put your mouth on."
"Only because you were behind me in line," Ramsey answered.
