"The Rancher's Surprise Triplets" [Lone Star Cowboy League: Multiple Blessings Series, Book 1] by Linda Ford
Author's Book Description :Three Little Matchmakers
Rancher Bo Stillwater has no plans of becoming a husband or a father…but he can't turn away from the three babies he finds at the county fair. After leaving the abandoned triplets in the care of the doctor's daughter, Louisa Clark, his duty should be done. So why can't he seem to stay away from the babies and their pretty caregiver?
Watching the town's most eligible bachelor with the little trio reawakens Louisa's unmet dreams. She's found satisfaction in spinsterhood and caring for others, convinced that motherhood passed her by. Do she and Bo only work so well together for the children's sakes…or could they both find courage to make this sweet temporary arrangement something truly lasting?
My Book Review :2.5 out of 5 stars. A man (Bo) finds abandoned 9-month-old triplets at a fair and takes them to the doctor to get healthy. The doctor's daughter (Louisa) looks after them while they get well again. During the babies recovery Bo and Louisa form a sweet relationship, but is what they have strong enough to overcome their own fears about themselves?
I wish I could've liked this one more. While I liked this novel and series' setup, I had a hard time with the way the plot wrapped up and how some secondary story lines never completed. I mean, even though I liked that Bo and Louisa got together, I feel the ending just wrapped everything up way to nicely. Especially after all the fuss Louisa made about her life. Then there was the baby-twist that I wish was a more completed plotline. Yet, from what I looked up, it's going to be a theme throughout this series. I just wish I caught on to that “theme” sooner as it might not have bugged me as much as it does now if I had known about it earlier. 😕 😛
Even so, I was enamored with all the characters, which is why I’m having a difficult time with the plotline.
Nevertheless, it’s because of the characters, I still recommend this novel to those looking for a sweet Christian romance.
"Love comes in many ways. It is not always romantic love. There is a mother's love for her child. A child's for her mother. Even the love people have for children not their own. I think---" Her words came slowly. "Love provides the power to accept what God lays in our path. Sometimes love calls for sacrifices." ~ within Chapter 11

Today I'm playing around by showing off Jimmy Fallon's "Your Baby's First Word Will Be DADA," that I found while shopping at Kmart. It was so cute I can't resist sharing! *hehee*
Everyone knows that fathers wage a secret campaign to ensure that their babies' first word is "Dada!"
But how does it work?
One of the most popular entertainers in the world and NBC's The Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon, shows you how.

MOIRA I’ve known Braxton my whole life. He’s older than me, but I’ve loved him since I knew what that meant. And when I see him again after years of being apart, I don’t want to stop myself from telling him how I feel. He might be my father’s good friend, and nearly two decades older than me, but he’s all I want. BRAXTON I first realized I loved Moira when she was eighteen years old. Now two years later I’m back in her life and that affection has grown tenfold. It’s smart to stay away, but I can’t. I won’t. I’ve been celibate because I only want her. It’s time to man-up and tell Moira that she’s been mine for years, even if she didn’t know it. Warning: This is an especially fast read, packed with steamy goodness, and a virginal heroine and celibate hero. It also has a healthy dose of sweetness thrown in. Get ready for a feel good story that’ll still make you blush.

Okay this is becoming a habit ... two for Fangirl Musings so far and now this one for Steph's Rom Book Talk ... who knows it might becoming a constant feature ... any who ...
Right now I'm fangirling over Ms. Stephanie and her video where she discusses what romance means to her and more. While I'll admit I am the type that says give me a HEA (Happily Ever After) or a HFN (Happily For Now) for every book (please), I am definitely willing to read a novel that has just enough romance to keep my interest while not ending the way I want it too. Especially since I agree with what Ms. Stephanie says in that yes the author may want to write an HEA but is that truly where the characters were suppose to end up? Don't force the story because if it doesn't work for the characters ... the readers will feel it too.
One novel that I've read out of my comfort zone but has a little romance was for Amanda McNeil's "Waiting For Daybreak." And I am so happy I did because I it was better than I expected!
You just never know what "romance" novel you'll find and like ... unless you try. =0)
NOW ... check out Ms. Stephanie's video to hear her thoughts too!

Dog walking was supposed to be Katie’s easy third job. When she answered the ad, she had no idea she’d be working for Clay “The Grinch” Colson—recently retired baseball superstar. He’s every bit as intimidating as the scowl he’s famous for, and Katie believes the rumors she’s heard about how mean he is are true—until she sees him with his overgrown, crazy Boxer, Dixie.
Lucky Katie gets completely unexpected, front-row seats to a side of Clay the tabloids never captured. Every. Single. Morning. And the more she’s exposed to his gruff affection, the more she can’t help thinking there’s so much hiding behind that scowl… The more she wonders what she’d have to do to have him call her his good girl.
Every morning, the sexiest woman he’s ever seen comes to his house and calls him Daddy. Sure, she’s his dog walker, but that doesn’t mean she has the right to sashay into his world every morning, plant that saucy little gaze on him, and say, “Good morning, Daddy.”
Now that’s all he can think about—being her very dirty daddy. Enjoy the other books in the His Collection by Jenika Snow, Roxie Brock, Frankie Love, Dani Wyatt, and Aria Cole.
