My Book Review : 5 out of 5 stars!! This novel reels you in with crazy squirrels than hooks you with a romance that is intensely sweet. When Tyler and Karen meet, their lives are stacked against them. As their relationship grows, they decide what they really want for themselves and what they are willing to do to help accomplish their goals.

I was riveted by this dramatic YA novel. Karen’s life is in turmoil; she just lost her mother in a car accident and is now living with her father’s “perfect” family. Never meeting her father prior to the accident, she doesn’t know how to cope other than with her daily running. While running she meets Tyler and they quickly go from “friends” into a relationship that seems to help them both. Yet, Tyler’s life isn’t much better than Karen’s is. He’s a hockey player with a good chance to make it into the NHL after this final year, but with a father and agent demanding everything and more from him, the pressure is getting to be too much to handle. Both (with the help of Karen’s “new” family) find that being together makes them stronger and better to equipped to handle whatever/whoever comes their way.

I loved Tyler and Karen’s banter. They were a playful fun couple that were fun to read! I HIGHLY recommend this novel to those looking for an intense YA contemporary romance!

My Book Review : 5 out of 5 stars!! In Mystic Harbor Vampires and Shifters are known enemies and it is forbidden for them to mate. However, once half-vampire Isabella and mountain lion shifter Ashton meet they find their connection undeniable and uncontrollable. Will they control the uncontrollable or will they embrace the unknown?

I thoroughly enjoyed this fast-paced paranormal romance!! As this is the first novel I've read in this series, I found it involved enough to get a good grasp on the town while being completely standalone enough that you can enjoy it all by itself too. Ashton & Isabella's instant romance is enthralling in its intensity! They have such an instant attraction and connection (which is typical for the mate romances) that I couldn't help but like. Fun, thrilling, erotic this has it all!

I HIGHLY recommend this novel to those looking for a unique paranormal romance!

My Book Review : 3.5 out of 5 stars! This was a creative backwards take on the Cinderella story. Because while Cynthia (Cindy/Cinderella) might feel over looked in her family she loves her stepmother, her father (who's still alive), and her gorgeous twin stepsisters. However, she wants to finally make it on her own without the financial help from her stepmother, as her help includes a clause that her sisters need to “work” with her too. To have her own company she needs to have a successful event for Chad’s new organization Building Tomorrow. Yet as Cynthia gets everything just right for the event, she gets closer to Chad and learns that he might be the one to bring light into her life, while Chad learns that his mystery woman might have been under his nose all along…

Very sweet and entertaining. Especially interesting how the characters nicknamed her Cinderella she isn’t much of one, it’s more about girl power and Cynthia accepting the hand that fate dealt her and making the most of it all. With a kitty, instead of a shoe, to bring Cynthia & Chad together I was charmed. I liked how their relationship subtly grew and how Chad’s ten-year mystery was revealed.

I recommend this novel to those looking for a sweet contemporary romance!
