About Small Business Saturday/Week

History ::
I heard about American Express' Small Business Saturday in 2012 when my local bookstore (at the time) was promoting it like crazy.

Here is American Express' Description About this Event ::
    The Day We All Shop Small. Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to supporting small businesses across the country. Created by American Express in 2010, this day is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Since 2012, I have taken Small Business Saturday and turned it into a week long event starting on Small Business Saturday and throughout the week afterwards hosting contests, guest posts, promotions, and more!

What I Need Help With ::
I need Bloggers, Authors, Publishers, and/or Small Business Owners who are willing to....
  • Donate a prize
    • It can be anything that you'd like to donate from a novel (ebook, paperback, or hardcover) to an item from a small business shop near you (I've had someone donate greeting cards before).
  • Write up a Guest Post
    • Preferably about a local small business near you that you'd like to tell everyone about (previously I've had authors write up guest posts about their local bookstores).
  • Promote an Indie Author
    • By either reviewing or talking about a recent indie novel you've read, talking about a book that you published yourself that you want to spread the word about, or just want to get the word out about an author you really like!
  • Anything Extra ...
    • The top three things I did last year but if you have another idea and would like to participate then please let me know and we'll see how we can fit it in!

Sign Up to Participate ::

If you have any other questions please email me at frommetoyouvideo@hotmail.com.
