"things i know about love" by Kate le Vann ( I read this as a part of We Love YA! A young adult arc tour site)
My Book Summary : Livia has had a tough hand in life and in love. When she was in her early teens, she was diagnosed with leukemia, thus little time for the things that gave her a broader social life. Then during the times she did have a boyfriend, once things got worse with her disease they seem to go running for the hills.
Now during the summer after she passed her sixth year, Livia plans to visit her older brother while he is at Princeton University. During her time, there she hopes to have a summer fling and find the truth about love or at least get a better understanding about what she knows about it. Once there she starts a private blog to document her summer and analyze what happened in her previous relationships to see if that can help her find out about her future.
She finds that she likes America ... it's fun, and almost completely different then what she's used to. Plus, she takes an interest in her older brother's friend Adam, who just happens to be British too. Could this be whom she chooses as her summer fling?
My Book Review : 3.5 out of 5 stars, WOW just wow!!! The beginning of this story really didn't pull me in but I'm glad that I stuck with it since I fell in love with Livia, Adam and her brother. They were all great characters. And I'm soo happy that you get to read Adam's blog along with Livia's.

Book Teaser(s) :
I gasped theatrically, pretending to be horrified that he hadn't forgiven me. "You can trust me now!" I squeaked. "We're both adults. I'm nearly eighteen, remember? I can vote soon."
"And that is truly frightening," Jeff said. "Er . . . remind me, who's the Home Secretary?"
"Ha! Well! As it happens, I have already made plans to find out who the Home Secretary is. And the Foreign Secretary."
"Oh, you're right," Jeff mocked, "the country is safe in your hands. It's good that you didn't waste all that time when you were stuck in hospital. And, how about naming the Star Trek movies, in order?"
"One: The Motion Picture, Two: The Wrath of Khan, Three: The Search for Spock....Just because I know this doesn't mean I don't know important polit---"
"Go on," he said, raising one eyebrow. ~ within blog entry dated July 25
