NOTE: "Stone Embrace" is not a complete story. It would best be described as an extended 30 page epilogue to the novel "Stone Guardian." You'll probably have the most enjoyment reading this story if you have read "Stone Guardian" and already know the characters and world of the Entwined Realms series.

My Book Review : 4 out of 5 stars! A wonderful "epilogue" that proved why I love Larissa and Terak so much! It definitely got me excited again to see where this series will take us next!

I would definitely recommend this novella but ONLY if you've read "Stone Guardian," and hopefully liking it as much as I did!!

"Stone Guardian" [Entwined Realms Series, Book 1] by Danielle Monsch

My Book Summary : Twenty-six years ago, our world (aka the Human Realm) collided with another world (aka the Magic Realm), which is now known as the Great Collision where tales of myth and legend unwittingly came into our world and somehow settled in. On that same day, Larissa was born.

Since then everyone/every "thing" has tried to be as civil as they can get. However, like all good races/colonies they try to stay involved into their own agendas instead of getting mix into everybody else's issues.

Or at least that is what Larissa's father led her to believe for a majority of her life...

However, when The Oracle brings Terak--the Leader of the Gargoyles--into her life it is not only turned upside down it feels like it's been thrown off course. Will she be up for the challenges that are soon to face her? Or will her life be torn apart for good?

My Book Review : 4 out of 5 stars, this intensely suspenseful romance will keep you on your toes while it keeps you hoping for more. I enjoyed reading about how these two worlds came together and how some of the "typical" creatures that you read about in other books have other nuances in this one that you wouldn't expect but were intriguing to learn. It definitely makes me curious as to see where this series will go, especially with the unusual cast of characters that you already find in this first novel.

Larissa and Terak are quite a pair, from their immediate chemistry to dealing with each other's differences. I really liked them together!! Even though Larissa has "no power," she has the ability to stick up for who she believes is truly good and does her best to stand up to those who are against her in any way (even if they are stronger or have other powers). Plus, I liked her sassiness! While Terak appears to be very stoic and determined, I enjoyed how he grew--because of Larissa--throughout this novel.

I recommend this novel and series to anyone who enjoys suspenseful paranormal romance!

My Book Review :

4 out of 5 stars! A girl tries to steal lipstick from SmartMart and is caught. As punishment, as well as to teach her responsibility, her mother gets the manager to hire her for the summer, much to her dismay. Overtime she finds that SmartMart is better than she perceived, most of the employees are really nice, and there is one hot assistant manager who is more than nice in getting to know. Yet, with life at home getting more difficult and the hot assistant manager actually being her best friend’s enemy will she be able to follow her instincts/her heart or will her fears about what everyone thinks get in the way?

Even though at times I wish Alexis (Lex/Lexus) was more forthright to her friends and Noah, I liked how this novel progressed from Lex being snobby to her putting effort into getting to know all her employees to her overcoming her previous misgivings. [READ MY FULL REVIEW & TWO EXTRA TEASERS]

About the Authors :

When Pintip Dunn first-grade teacher asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, she replied, “An author.” Although she has pursued other interests over the years, this dream has never wavered. Pintip graduated from Harvard University, magna cum laude, with an A.B. in English Literature and Language. She received her J.D. at Yale Law School, where she was an editor of the YALE LAW JOURNAL.
Pintip is represented by literary agent Beth Miller of Writers House. She is a 2012 RWA Golden Heart® finalist and a 2014 double-finalist. She lives with her husband and children in Maryland.

Heidi R. Kling writes about normal girls in fantastic situations. "PAINT MY BODY RED," a romantic thriller about a girl fleeing secrets from home launches November 2 with EntangledTeen, followed by several more novels on various Entangled imprints. She earned her MFA in Creative Writing from the New School, but has been writing books, plays and screenplays since she could practically hold a pencil.








Gloria Craw grew up in the desert southwest, inspired everyday by the wide skies and rich colors around me. Gloria attended the University of Utah where she majored and got a degree in anthropology. These days, she lives in the burbs just outside of Seattle, Washington. She's married and has four daughters.
