2.5 out of 5 stars. Blah!! I mean ... I liked this story up until the half way point when they start to dislike each other from all of the lies between them. Then it's all like oh no did I make the right choice or not. *shakes head* Maybe if it was longer the author could have made it better but probably not.
A graduate student working in animal genetics, Beth Coldwell is in town to track and tag big cats in the wild. Her prospects for the summer only improve when she meets Kelan and Reidar Falke and decides the sexy brothers are the right pair to fulfill her other, less than scientific, desires...
But her research is a threat to the Falke family secret. When Kelan, in cougar form, is captured, that secret comes closer than ever to being revealed. He escapes, but not before Beth draws a blood sample, and analysis shows this is no ordinary mountain lion.
Kelan and Reidar cannot deny the powerful attraction they feel toward Beth. She might just be their destined mate. But if they reveal themselves to her, will she embrace who they are or see them as just another science experiment?

"The Iron Knight" [The Iron Fey Series, Book 4] by Julie Kagawa
My Book Summary : Around the end of "The Iron Queen," Meghan sends Ash away from the Iron Realm but before he finally leaves, he gives her an Oath, saying that he'll find a way to return to her and be her knight. This whole story is about how he can complete that Oath to her. Find a way to be there for her as a protector and a companion. However, Ash knows he cannot do this alone so he has his arch-nemesis, Puck, and an annoying "always right" cait sith, Grimalkin, with him. As well as two other comrades--one who is a person from both Puck and Ash's past and another who is usually an enemy.
Will Ash be able to complete his journey and following quests and trials, and make it back to Meghan? Can he also do so while being unharmed and not go insane, like they say most do? Or will something come into his life and completely change the path he is on for good?
My Book Review : 5 out of 5 stars!! "The Iron Knight" wraps up this wonderfully awesome series, and I was captivated and entertained so much in this story that I didn't want to put it down!! This book kept me jumping from the beginning from all of the twists that the author throws in it!! I was SOOO surprised with how it gives you multiple endings, in a way, that leave you reeling because your not sure if that's definitely going to happen or not. In addition, I LOVED how the character roles played out, how you get to really an in depth background for Ash but you also get a new appreciation for Puck.
If you are a fan of the Iron Fey series you should LOVE this book as much as I did, especially if you are on Team Ash like I am!! =0)

"Hmm. Hey, Ice-boy, hold these for a second, will ya?" Puck asked, holding out the mushroom kebabs. Frowning, I took them, and he struck me upside the head, not hard, but solid enough to rock me forward a step. "Stop being so damned fatalistic," he said as I turned on him with a snarl. "If I didn't want to be here, I wouldn't be. And you know you can't do it all by your lonesome, ice-boy. Sooner or later, you're going to have to start trusting us."
I laughed at him then, bitter and self-mocking. "Trust," I said flatly. "Trust requires the faith of both parties, Goodfellow." ~ within Chapter 9 - titled 'In Dreams'
Panting, we stumbled through the arch into the next room, where Grimalkin stood on a broken pillar, waiting for us.
"Ugh," Puck groaned, brushing cinders from his shirt. "Well, that was fun, though a bit on the clichéd side. Way too Temple of Doom for me. So, where are we now?" ~ within Chapter 13 - titled 'The Gauntlet'

"The Iron Knight" [The Iron Fey Series, Book 4] by Julie Kagawa
Book Teaser:
"Well," the witch said, curling bloodless lips to a smile at us. Crooked yellow teeth flashed in the light like jagged bits of bone. "What do we have here? Two handsome faery boys, come to visit a poor old woman. And if my eyes don't deceive me, that's Robin Goodfellow I see before me. The last I saw of you, you stole my broom and tied my house's legs so it fell over when we tried to catch you!"
I repressed another sigh. This wasn't starting well. ~ within Chapter 1 - titled 'The House Of The Bone Witch'

My Book Summary : After a long day at work Kelan & Reidar are just hanging out at the bar and relax. That is until Beth walks in and sets their lusts on fire!!
Beth is new in town trying to scout good spots for her professor's research study on pumas in the area. She never expected that she would get to indulge in her wildest fantasies while she was here though. And these two hot brother spark her inner sex kitten in a way she has never felt before.
However, when Beth ends up catching Kelan while he is in his puma form, being "Falke" during the day light, assuming him to be a typical puma to start her research on sets off a chain of events that none of them could have suspected.
What will Kelan & Reidar do when they find out that the woman they cannot get enough of, and want her to possibly be their mate, might end up being their enemy after all??
My Book Review : 3.5 out of 5 stars! The beginning of this novel is a bit slow, and I didn't like some of it, but after a quarter of the way in this story picks up and there is action ALL around!! =0)
The relationship that develops between Kelan, Beth, & Reidar is spicy and very entertaining. Plus, I really liked finding out how the brother's world and their family dynamics works.
I recommend this book who have read "Falke's Peak" and/or are fans of Madison Layle & Anna Leigh Keaton's books!!
Book Teaser(s) :
“Your sister said he was born in captivity. But if you take him out in the wild, what if he found a mate out there? A female in heat would trump your pampering. He could run off until he’d secured his line.”
The brothers were silent for a minute, but then Kelan chuckled. “He doesn’t pay much attention to other cats, other than to warn us of their presence.”
“Excuse me? He isn’t fixed. I know that much from the exam I did.”
Reidar found that statement hilarious, nearly choking on his beer, but Kelan groaned and swiped his hand through his hair.
“I’m serious,” she insisted. “Are you going to get him neutered?”
“God, no!” Kelan said.
Reidar damn near fell out of his chair laughing, but Kelan looked serious. Overly serious.
“You can’t keep an animal that’s wild by nature as a house pet,” she continued in spite of the looks Reidar’s amusement drew from other tables. “It won’t work. Eventually he’ll go off to spread his seed.”
“No. He won’t,” was Kelan’s response, and it made her roll her eyes. ~ within Chapter 8

"We'll Always Have Summer" [A Summer Novel, Book 3] by Jenny Han
My Book Summary : Two years have passed and during that time Isabel (Belly) and Jeremiah has built a relationship for themselves that they love. They think nothing can bring them down. So, while at a fraternity party celebrating the last few days of college (and Belly's freshman year), Belly hears that Jeremiah has cheated on her. She's sad, hurt, and unsure of where to go from there, except she knows that she needs space.
Once they are able to talk to each other again Jeremiah makes amends with Belly, in a way that she never expected but they are both very excited about. Before their summer hits they make plans and hope their families will support their decisions. Soon, however, they find that what they want and what their parents want for them are two separate things. So, Belly decides to stay at the Cousin's beach house after a huge fight with her mother, she just didn't expect to have Conrad (Jeremiah's older brother) staying there at the same time. But that's okay, their relationship is over but they can still be friends, right?
However, when everything seems to be falling apart and Conrad is the only one around to help her, Belly finds that she now needs, and gets, to confront her feelings for Conrad to be sure what they had is truly over. Especially before things completely change for her ...
My Book Review : 4 out of 5 stars. "We'll Always Have Summer" wraps up the admiring story of the young love that Isabel has for the two Fisher boys. The author does a wonderful job of taking on a hard situation, of two brothers wanting the same girl, and putting a sweet and heartwarming spin on it.
I loved how everything turns out for Isabel, Conrad, and Jeremiah!! Especially since she ends up with the boy I liked the best! =0) However, there were plenty of twists in this book that first you were thinking Belly would choose one of them, and then you think she's going to go for the other, and back again. But I did really like how it all ended. Even though I wish there was more about the one she ends up with and her, I also know that whatever the author could have added probably would never have stop me from wanting more. So, oh wells.
I definitely recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good YA love triangle! Also, I recommend it to those of you who enjoy books by Sarah Dessen and/or Elizabeth Scott.
My Previous Review(s) for this Series :Book 1 | Book 2
What would he say when we told him our news? I couldn't begin to guess. When it came to Conrad, I was never sure of anything.
I worried, too, about what my mother would say. Jeremiah wasn't worried, but he so rarely was. He said, "Once they know we're serious, they'll have to get on board, because they won't be able to stop us. We're adults now." ~ within Chapter 13
She had on a light purple dress. She looked grown up. It occurred to me that she had grown up while I wasn't looking, that there was every likelihood she had changed and I didn't know her anymore. But when she stood up to clap, I saw the Band-Aid on her ankle and I recognized her again. ~ within Chapter 20

Have you read "The Iron King" [The Iron Fey Series, Book 1] by Julie Kagawa or any of the books in the Iron Fey Series yet? If not then you better get a move on! It is a wonderful and addicting series, and with the first three books being about Meghan and the fourth (also it's the upcoming book) book being about Ash you'll need to read the first three to really understand what is going to happen, I believe. If you enjoy YA Paranormal novels then I don't think you'll regret reading this series!! =0)
