My Book Review : 4 out of 5 stars!! Because of his grandfather's death--the man who raised him--Joseph (Joey) heads "home" to settle the estate. Once he gets there, he runs nose first into meeting his mate. Now he just needs to convince his prickly little mate that he's worthy of her trust, before the dangers of being who he is get in the way.

This was one mismatched set of mates that I thoroughly enjoyed reading about!! Joey and Katie seem different in every conceivable way but their hearts and "inner beasties" can't deny their connection even if for better or worse they want to at times. In truth, I enjoyed Katie and Joey together, along with its plot. I just wish I liked how it all wrapped up in the end better.

I recommend this novel to those looking for an entertaining paranormal romance!

Also, I kinda hoped that I could read a scene where Katie shifted but it wasn’t meant to be.

My Book Review : 4.5 out of 5 stars!! Because of a health scare forcing his Uncle into retirement; Nathan (Nate) is finally becoming the CFO of the family business. However, that means not getting close to Allison (Alli) who is his Uncle's--now soon to be his--executive assistant, which will be hard since getting close is all he can think about. Even after learning that Allison is a single mom he still wants to get to know her more. But is this playboy willing to give up his footloose and fancy-free days for family life?

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. It was simply captivating in its plot especially in how it leads the reader through the novel. Then with the way, it subtly builds you up for other novels in this series ... Pretty awesome!

I found Allison and Nate to be an engaging couple, enjoyed them being together a lot. However, I felt their "official coming together moments" at the end to be a little forced. Overall, though, they made a great team and pair.

I recommend this novel to those looking for a flirty contemporary romance!!

My Book Review : 4 out of 5 stars! Two lost souls find each other in an unexpected way and become committed to one another because of an unexpected baby. But will fate be enough to keep them together or will their stubbornness get the better of them both?

Based on the other reviews I read I wasn't sure I would like/appreciate this novel, but I ended up really liking it!! It has an intensity about it that I thoroughly enjoyed. In addition, it made me not want to put the novel down and not want to give up my hope that Alek was a "good guy." Yet what I really liked was how Alek and Ellie come together in their relationship. It was sweet, dramatic, and well plotted out.

I recommend this novel to those who like reading unexpected baby romances!
