5 out of 5 stars! If you're looking for a fresh take on omegaverse romance, this novel is just what you need! Toni thought she had found her pack when she was younger, but had to leave because she couldn't have both her dreams and her pack. Now, years later, she's back to living with her old pack for a few months, so she'll be allowed to divorce them by the end of that time legally. During this period, everyone discovers what they genuinely want in life and who they want to be with long-term.

I absolutely fell in love with this novel. The unexpected twists kept me hooked, and I liked how the plot unveiled the reasons behind the characters' current situations. Plus, I adored how Toni developed feelings for the people in her life within this novel. Some were second-chance romances, and some were just perfect for her. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a plot-driven romance!

DNF. I attempted to read this novel twice in 2023, but both times I did not finish it. However, I did like all of the characters. The reason I stopped reading it the second time, in November/December 2023, is that halfway through the novel, I did not like the direction the plot was taking the characters. It's disappointing that I couldn't enjoy this novel as much as I wanted, especially since I enjoyed book 1 in the series. You might enjoy it more than I did.
