Review: Off The Rush

Off The Rush Off The Rush by D.M. Page
My rating: 0 of 5 stars

DNF. I found it challenging to get into this novel due to the plot, so I only managed to read up to 34%. However, I did find the characters intriguing. Watch my full book review here: https://youtu.be/05wFf9WdmMo

Review: Fake It Till You Mate It

Fake It Till You Mate It Fake It Till You Mate It by Flora Quincy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 out of 5 stars! If you're looking for a fresh take on omegaverse romance, this novel is just what you need! Toni thought she had found her pack when she was younger, but had to leave because she couldn't have both her dreams and her pack. Now, years later, she's back to living with her old pack for a few months, so she'll be allowed to divorce them by the end of that time legally. During this period, everyone discovers what they genuinely want in life and who they want to be with long-term.

I absolutely fell in love with this novel. The unexpected twists kept me hooked, and I liked how the plot unveiled the reasons behind the characters' current situations. Plus, I adored how Toni developed feelings for the people in her life within this novel. Some were second-chance romances, and some were just perfect for her. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys a plot-driven romance!

Review: Their Perfect Omega

Their Perfect Omega Their Perfect Omega by Maya Nicole
My rating: 0 of 5 stars

DNF. I attempted to read this novel twice in 2023, but both times I did not finish it. However, I did like all of the characters. The reason I stopped reading it the second time, in November/December 2023, is that halfway through the novel, I did not like the direction the plot was taking the characters. It's disappointing that I couldn't enjoy this novel as much as I wanted, especially since I enjoyed book 1 in the series. You might enjoy it more than I did. Review: Pack Rivals: Part Two

Pack Rivals: Part Two Pack Rivals: Part Two by Hannah Haze
My rating: 0 of 5 stars

DNF. I was really enjoying this novel, but by the time I reached Chapter 19, everything seemed to be going "too well." This made me quite nervous because I feared I would start disliking it soon. As a result, I stopped reading and found it difficult to get back into the story. I might pick it back up again at some point and finish it. Review: Pack Rivals: Part One

Pack Rivals: Part One Pack Rivals: Part One by Hannah Haze
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4 out of 5 stars! This was an intriguing start to this omegaverse duet. I enjoyed it, although I found the plot to be somewhat predictable. However, the concept of a woman bringing together men in her life who already have issues with one another made it a more captivating story. I would recommend this novel if you're interested in getting hooked on a Cinderella-esque omegaverse romance. Watch my full book review here: https://youtu.be/NwnvHpoG-ts

December 2023 Reread Review:
5 out of 5 stars! This book has become a steamy comfort read that I will probably revisit if I'm in a reading slump. I adore the characters, the plotline is unique and fun, and the cherry on top is all the steamy scenes that showcase surprising romances turning into love with a variety of characters. Review: Puck & Her Blades

Puck & Her Blades Puck & Her Blades by Rosemary A. Johns
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3.5 out of 5 stars! In this alternate history omegaverse contemporary romance, you follow a "rejected omega" as she discovers her place in the world as a famous hockey team's mascot and an additional omega for a pack. I enjoyed the initial plot and characters. However, by the 50% mark, I felt that the plot was rushed, and some of the societal rules became annoying. Overall, I found it to be a cute yet steamy read that I would recommend. Watch my full book review here: https://youtu.be/wE8Em3fiPHM

Review: Once Upon a Dark Turn

Once Upon a Dark Turn Once Upon a Dark Turn by Tana Rose
My rating: 0 of 5 stars

DNF. I picked up this book because I enjoyed Ms. Rose's FatedVerse Series and thought the novel's description sounded intriguing. However, it didn't hook me in the beginning, so I gave up. I might revisit it and try reading it again at some point. Watch my full review here: https://youtu.be/Fe4xgEaPNi0

Review: Wild Child

Wild Child Wild Child by Cassie Lein
My rating: 0 of 5 stars

DNF. I go into more detail in my video review, but I was initially excited about this novel before it was released. However, I found that my expectations were too high. The beginning of the novel intrigued me, but I really disliked how Willow's father kept her in the dark about the truth of her mates. This made it difficult for me to fully embrace the plotline. I think the novel could have worked for me, but by Chapter 10, I stopped reading it altogether because I couldn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped. Review: Knot Your Average Beta

Knot Your Average Beta Knot Your Average Beta by Tana Rose
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 out of 5 stars! I've been a fan of omegaverse romance for a while, so I really enjoy reading unique plots in this genre. This novel is a standalone story within a series of connected romances that I absolutely loved. It's a contemporary novel with a science fiction twist, and it's about a woman discovering her true self. At first, I thought it would follow the typical "switch" situation or the cliché of a woman realizing she's just a late bloomer, but I'm pleased to say that I was wrong. The characters and plot of this novel really drew me in. If you're into omegaverse romances like I am, I highly recommend this novel and the series it belongs to! My rating: 0 of 5 stars

DNF. I had high hopes for this series, but unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it as much as I had wanted to. I ended up not finishing it. I liked the main characters and Sadie's familiar, but I didn't like the additional characters and side plotlines that were introduced. Review: Fates Mark

My rating: 0 of 5 stars

DNF. I had been interested in this series for a while, so I was happy to purchase the entire series as a complete novel. I found book one (Marked by Night) to have a unique plotline, and I really liked Sadie (the FMC), Sadie's familiar, and the mates Sadie finds for herself. However, as book two (Bound by Light) continued the series, I wasn't getting into it as much as I had wanted to, and I ended up not finishing it. I really wish I had enjoyed this series more. Review: Knot the Right Omega

Knot the Right Omega Knot the Right Omega by Violet Coltair
My rating: 0 of 5 stars

DNF. I was initially interested in this novel because of its book description, and it seemed like a fun standalone within a series. However, I couldn't connect with Bella (the FMC), and once she finally got to the ball, I found that I couldn't get into the plot of this novel or even enjoy the overall plot setup of the series. As a result, I stopped at 39%, which is around Chapter 27. Watch my full book review here: https://youtu.be/SBKmav3CiRE

5 out of 5 stars! This unique omegaverse story revolves around a few characters with multiple relationships centered around an omega who has had a difficult life and is trying to adapt to a "normal" world. From the Sub/Dom dynamics to the talented alpha cellist and the omega who, like Alice in Wonderland, is experiencing everything anew, I absolutely loved this novel. I highly recommend it! It was a sweet book, but the main characters were idiots when it came to telling the truth to each other and not having the guts to talk to each other about everything.
