My Book Review : 4.5 out of 5 stars! Would-be enemies get close one night, find common ground, and end up creating more between them than they had originally planned. However, will being together be what they both want and need or will other "plans" get in their way?

Captivated from beginning to end by the noble bad boy winning over his long time secret love interest. Beckett and Kaitlin (Kate) are oil and water at times but in the end, they made one another become a better people in the long run. Once Beckett gave up on running away, he turned into a doting man who I swooned over more than once. The only thing that was hard to read about was Kate's aloofness/denial to her over feelings towards Beckett. Nevertheless, I am happy with how Kate stepped up and the ending turned out. This read definitely turned into one of my favorites from Marietta.

I highly recommend this novel to those looking for a quick contemporary romance!

My Book Review : 2.5 out of 5 stars, while in Orlando for a business trade show Sara finds her life turned upside down when thugs who know her ex-boyfriend come after her because of her ex's wrongdoing and a weretiger comes to her rescue. Yet, will she be able to accept his help and the many strings that includes ...

This quick paranormal suspenseful romance was an okay read with an intriguing premise. I wished I could have liked this novel more but Sara was a little off-putting in her offhand attitude. But Ryan was definitely a refreshing hero that I would love rescuing me, just hopefully not from as extreme circumstances that Sara dealt with.

I recommend this novel only to those who are looking for a very quick suspenseful paranormal slight romantic read.

My Book Review : 3.5 out of 5 stars! Quinn, the big boss at a computer company, has tried to ask out Vanessa a few times but she seems to be Captain Oblivious to his attentions. Therefore, after Vanessa gets a little drunk and takes a dare to kiss Quinn at the company's New Year’s party Quinn takes the opportunity to make his intentions with her clear by whisking her away for a family get-together. However, will Quinn be able to win Vanessa over, even though they have the secret of who he really is between them and a jealous wolf not wanting Vanessa to get in the way...

This quick erotic paranormal romance is fun and quirky. I liked its build up and was happy to read how not oblivious to Vanessa Quinn was. Quinn and his possessiveness charmed me. While they make an odd match up, I enjoyed them together. In addition, I really liked Quinn's family.

The only thing that annoyed me was this novella's wrap up, as I had hoped for a bit more depth to their connection with how it ends and to find out more of what happened to "the bitch." =0)

Nevertheless, I definitely DO recommend this novella to those looking for a quirky erotic paranormal romance!

My Book Review : 3 out of 5 stars. Eliza (Elizabeth/Lizzie) was raised by her father for most of her life, a man who let her be more wild and free then respectable. After her father remarries, when she's a preteen, her new stepmother says she needs more discipline so Eliza is sent away to live with her Uncle Will the Viscount Grandville. A few years after living with her Uncle, Eliza finds herself the "bell of the ball" with a lot of wannabe suitors. Tommy is a close friend of Eliza's who has fallen for her and plans to propose to her, but the proposal doesn't end well and Tommy takes off for India. Now, about six years later, Eliza is a widow who is trying to make amends with Tommy when he finally returns home. However, one misunderstanding leads them straight for the wedding alter and now they need to navigate how to be friends again let alone how to turn that friendship into possibly something more.

Some people cannot get over their pasts without a bit of help from others. This novel is just like that, as you follow Eliza and Tommy through their youth into adulthood where they find that even if they make new experiences and think they've changed, their pasts will always be a part of them. While I liked Tommy & Eliza together, I found it hard to really like them at times because of how self-absorbed they seemed. But once what brings them together ends I seemed to like them better as individuals and as a couple. Though it wasn't what I expected I did like how everything turned out.

I do recommend this novel to those looking for a good historical romance!
