"How to Marry a Cowboy" [Cowboys & Bride's Series, Book 4] by Carolyn Brown

Authors' Book Description : This cowboy's met his match, and he's gonna put a ring on it

Rancher Mason Harper's two little girls want nothing more than a mama of their own. So when a pretty woman appears on his front porch in a tattered wedding dress, he can't help but wonder if it's fate.

Annie Rose Boudreau is in a downright hellish mess. She's just a few steps ahead of the lowlife ex who's been hot on her heels, but she's tired of running, and nannying Mason's two sweet girls may be just what she needs. As her days on the ranch fly by, and the nights with Mason get hotter, Annie Rose decides that she's going to stay... for a lifetime.

My Book Review : 3.5 out of 5 stars! It was just soo sweet! I kept waiting for "the next boot to drop" or something major to happen to one of the main characters (Annie Rose & Mason) to add a bit more drama but it never happened, this was just a slow and steady contemporary romance that keeps you entertained the whole way through.

Annie Rose & Mason make a good team and couple. Personally, they are so connected and like the same things, I kept wondering what Mason would have done if he met Annie Rose before he married Holly ... which would he have stuck with? I kept thinking that, mostly because Annie Rose & Mason seem so perfect for each other I just can't imagine Holly & him working together well.

But anyways .... I liked the characters ... all of them. Especially Gabby & Lily, who are funny and rambunctious!

I recommend this novel to those who enjoy cowboy contemporary romances!

Book Teaser(s) :
He pulled her into a big hay barn and pointed to the ladder leading up to the loft. "Best way to see a ranch is through the doors in a hayloft," he said.
She planted a foot on the bottom rung and scampered up the ladder, unhindered by the dress length. Coming back down would pose more of a problem and she'd have to be careful not to get tangled up in the flowing material around her ankles.
He followed her. "You do that like you've done it before."
"It ain't my first rodeo or my first hayloft," she said. ~ within Chapter 8
The title on the front of the third booklet said How to Be a Mommy. She sat down in her recliner and smiled as she opened it.
Number 1: First you got to get kids. You can't be a mommy without kids.
Number 2: Twins are the best kind of kids, because only kids like Damian are little shits. Lily said that Mama-Nanny, so if anyone gets in trouble for bad words, it's got to be her.
Number 3: Girl twins are better than boy twins. Two of Damian would make the angels and even God shudder.
Number 4: You got to love the kids to be a good mommy. We think that you love us almost as much as we love you, so you will make a good mommy.
Number 5: A good mommy would never put her girls in a schoolroom where Damian was or where his mommy was a teacher, neither one. We love you, Mama-Nanny. ~ within Chapter 17
