My Book Review : DNF. Fate and circumstance throw Madelyn (Midge) and Brody together, while Brody finds ways to keep Midge with him ... forever.
I really enjoyed the setup, premise, and main characters in this novel. It was sweet and fun. Plus, the plot was a mixture of Disney's "Cinderella" & Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice" making it very entertaining.
The problem is Midge just refuses to fall in love, making this novel one long case of denial. It made it hard for me to read through, which is why I gave up at 54%. Also, it didn't help that Midge's father was an a--hole and seemed to be out for himself more than anything.
Nevertheless, I only recommend it to those wanting a Romantic Comedy to read.
