Kissing Santa Claus" [A Lucky Harbor Novella] by
Jill Shalvis
My Story Summary : Logan has come back to Lucky Harbor after being away for the past five months and after the scorching weeklong affair he shared with Sandy. Before Sandy saw Logan, again she would have sworn to anyone who asked her that she had gotten over him. Now, however, she knows that's not true, she's still in love with him. Nevertheless, the last thing she wants to be another booty call for him so she plans to have nothing to do with him, while all Logan wants is to be with her but this time make it forever, but will he be able to prove that to Sandy??
My Story Review : 3 out of 5 stars. It's a sweet story of love, Christmas wishes, and a Santa suit. Sandy is very friendly and always trying to give a helping hand to those who need it, while Logan is charming and willing to do anything to prove himself to Sandy.
The only thing I did wish for was that this story was a bit longer and I got to read more about the main characters. Otherwise, it was very cute!
Story Teaser : "What was what?"
"Why weren't you supposed to find me a Santa?" Sandy asked with what she felt was remarkably calm, even though she wasn't calm. Not even close to calm.
"It's a secret," Kali said; then with a softly uttered apology, she whirled and ran off. "See you at the parade in an hour!" she yelled back.
She turned and stared at the costume in the corner chair. She was wearing her favorite emerald-green wraparound dress, but that was about to change. "Great. I'm going to be merry and fat for Christmas." ~ within Chapter 3

"
I'll Be Home for Christmas" by
Hope Ramsay
My Story Summary : Matt comes to Last Chance, SC to give the grandmother of his dead best friend's last Christmas gift to her once he gets out of the army. However, when he gets there he finds that the grandmother is in a nursing home, a little lost kitten, and a woman who helps him celebrate the holidays in a way he was never able to before. Last Chance is starting to look like a place he'd want to call home, but will the people who live there be as welcoming??
My Story Review : 4 out of 5 stars!! This story has the holiday spirit shining though it from beginning to end! Matt is a solitary solider trying to find out what and who he will be now that he's out of the army. Annie is trying to find herself since now that her mother has passed away she has the freedom to be who she wants to be without judgment. Together they help each other and come to realize that love at first sight might be a true occurrence.
Story Teaser : For some reason, the angel, even with her bent wings and broken halo, looked beautiful up there. Once, a long time ago, Annie had thought the angel was the most beautiful Christmas ornament ever. How had she forgotten that?
Matt turned back to her, his eyes filled with joy. "I love doing this," he said. "I haven't had much experience trimming trees. My folks used to put a little fake tree on the kitchen table when I was a kid. We always lived in a pretty small apartment."
Annie turned away, suddenly overcome by emotions she couldn't name. ~ within the story as there isn't any chapters

"
O Little Town of Bramble" [A Deep in the Heart of Texas Novella] by
Katie Lane
My Story Summary : Sam comes home to Bramble, Texas after being away at college for the past 7 yrs. She loved her life in New York but she never realized how much of a small town girl she still is until she came back home, especially when she finds that her crush on Ethan (her longtime best friend) hasn't lightened up one bit. However, since she has grown use to his friendly nature but knowing that he isn't interested in her, she wants to stay around in Bramble for as short a timeperiod as possible.
Sam just doesn't realize that Ethan has a crush on Sam too. Nevertheless, he just doesn't know how to win her over. So, that's when the town tries to give them a helping hand before Sam decides to take off again.
My Story Review : 4.5 out of 5 stars, two best friends finding out what they really mean to each other after being years apart!! I couldn't get enough of Ethan and Sam, they were just sooo sweet!! My only complaint is I wish their story was longer so hopefully they might be good secondary characters in the next novel in this series, "
Catch Me A Cowboy," maybe??
But this story was definitely one that latched me onto the
Deep in the Heart of Texas series so I might just have to read the others!!
Story Teaser : "So I guess Darla is responsible for your Joseph's outfit?"
"I wish," Colt grumbled. "If Darla had made it, I could've gotten out of it. But how do you tell your wife of two weeks---your pregnant wife, no less---that you aren't going to wear the costume that she went to all of the trouble to make for you?"
"Well, I have to admit that the purple yarn belt is a little flashy," Ethan teased. "But other than that, it's not so bad." ~ within Chapter 3

My Book Review : For the full book I give it
3.83 out of 5 stars. All of the stories are really sweet. Plus, they have a good amount of romance and holiday spirit to enjoy this book on a cold winter night.
