Fangirling Ms. Stephanie "Number 1" | What's in a genre?? Let's Talk #Romance by @Stef_uncensored
Okay this is becoming a habit ... two for Fangirl Musings so far and now this one for Steph's Rom Book Talk ... who knows it might becoming a constant feature ... any who ...
Right now I'm fangirling over Ms. Stephanie and her video where she discusses what romance means to her and more. While I'll admit I am the type that says give me a HEA (Happily Ever After) or a HFN (Happily For Now) for every book (please), I am definitely willing to read a novel that has just enough romance to keep my interest while not ending the way I want it too. Especially since I agree with what Ms. Stephanie says in that yes the author may want to write an HEA but is that truly where the characters were suppose to end up? Don't force the story because if it doesn't work for the characters ... the readers will feel it too.
One novel that I've read out of my comfort zone but has a little romance was for Amanda McNeil's "Waiting For Daybreak." And I am so happy I did because I it was better than I expected!
You just never know what "romance" novel you'll find and like ... unless you try. =0)

Hey all ... I'm at it again and it's only been a few days, fangirling over Fangirl Musings' various videos. Since I only found out about her recently I have backtracking all (or at least a good majority) of her older videos since she is quite the character and I really like hearing her take on the novels she reads. Therefore ... this might be my second post about her but it surely won't be my last. =0)

In this post I'm showing off her movie review about "Love Between The Covers."

Confession time ... at this point in time I haven't watched this video so I have no take on it and I'm not really a good video reviewer, I think, so I probably wouldn't do it justice as I can the books I love to promote. Nevertheless, Ms. Jacqueline describes it eloquently and made me so interested in the movie while wanting to jump for joy for romance novels and their authors that I just HAD to share. Fangirling Over Here about @Fangirl_Musing | Dear #Romance Genre Snobs
Okay ... I'm sorry but I'm going to take a moment and FANGIRL over the Fangirl!! *hehehee* I only recently started watching Fangirl Musings's and I enjoy the crud (sorry my parenthood talk is coming through) out of her reviews. They are quirky and fun while being very informative! YAY! But just this morning/afternoon while going through her previous reviews did I come across this one that is titled "Dear Romance Genre Snobs." Please don't take offence but I LOVED IT! *hahaa* I'm still smiling over it. So here you go! Enjoy!

She knelt and began unfastening the Velcro strips holding the brace in place.
Jesus, Mary, and Uncle Steve. She was on her knees in front of him, and he was wearing a damned towel. He had a moment of dream déjà vu. A strand of rich honey hair had come loose from her ponytail and curled in the steam rising from the tub. He reached out to tuck it around his finger, but then pulled up short of actually touching her. She was Dave’s kid sister. No touching.
She looked up, something like heat in her eyes that was quickly masked by humor. “Do you want some Mr. Bubble in your tub?”
He actually considered it. She was going to have to help him in and out of the tub. But he couldn’t quite figure out how he was going to casually scoop a handful of bubbles over his semi-stiffy between dropping his towel and getting into the water.
He turned a little, to maneuver his good leg into the tub. He took a breath and grabbed the side of his towel, ready to yank it off.
Allie must have realized the reality of his predicament, because her face was red. She met his eyes with a stricken expression, then dropped her gaze like his groin was an eye magnet.
“It’s just a dick, Sneezy,” Justin said, pulling the towel off Band-Aid-style—all at once, to get the agony over with. He lowered himself into the water while she cradled his damaged ankle.
She stared at his crotch. And kept staring. Justin almost reached for the towel again.
“You’re right. It’s just a dick,” she said, once he was settled. She turned to walk out. “I’m going to get started on some work. Holler when you want to get out of the tub.”
“It’s not just a dick,” he called after her. “It’s a really nice dick!”
