The Fremont Street Experience
In Downtown Las Vegas, Nevada they have the Fremont Street Experience!! Here on Fremont Street they have this dome type of walkway that is one huge TV screen, and every couple of hours or so they play this awesome video/light show ... here is a section of the show!

Videos Galore!!
Well today I have created plenty of videos that I have been meaning to do for a while now. They are for/from .... my trip to the Grand Canyon, a clip of the show on Fremont Street "Experience" while we were in Vegas, the Elizabeth City 300 Truck & Tractor Pull, and a Elizabeth City promo/sample of what I'm going to be making for the Elizabeth City Area CVB for their most recent Co-Op Campaign!! Award for Ron Paul Video!
If you haven't heard the news then I thought I would tell you on here ... the Elizabeth City Area Convention & Visitors Bureau won an "Innovation Award, in the category of “Best Bureau Local Stakeholder Relations,” was shared with the Albemarle Economic Development Commission (AEDC) for a joint public relations campaign promoting Elizabeth City’s headquarters as the launch for the Ron Paul blimp." (taken from the ECACVB's latest press release) Part of the credit of "promoting Elizabeth City" as the headquarters is because of the video that I created and let my office use. I am very honored about this award.
In addition, my office (the ECACVB) won another Innovation Award for the free websites/blog that I have put together to get our word out more. Which definitely is an accomplishment since I spend quite a lot of time working on them.

NC Truck & Tractor Pull 2008
As I mentioned yesterday .. the Elizabeth City 300' National Truck & Tractor Pull is tonight. Hopefully I'll get some good pictures as a group of us are heading out to see the show. Summer is Here!!!
Elizabeth City feels like it's on the sun today ... well at least to me with the 90+ degree weather we have outside. And from what EC NC Weather is saying I don't think it's going to be getting cooler anytime soon.
With these hotter temperatures comes more activities and events around the city ... like:
Opening June 6th is Splash - Artists Judy Abrahams, Judy Bauman & Carolyn Peel at the Arts of the Albemarle Gallery. Which from what I here will be quite a display .. since these artists have been taught by artist Jane Filer!! For more info please call the AOA Gallery at 252-338-6455.
From June 6th - 8th is the Elizabeth City 300' National Truck & Tractor Pull!! Held at Morgan's Corner (North of Elizabeth City). Every year they hold quite a show!! Great for the family! FMI please call 252-264-3640.
On June 7th & 8th is the 3rd Annual Carolina Cup Regatta!! This is a great for the whole family ... exciting races, children's activities, vendors, and more!! FMI please call 252-339-0795.
