"Nikolai's Wolf" [True Mates Series, Book 3] by Zena Wynn
My Book Summary : Shannon has had to deal with her older brother (and also her pack leader) pushing possible mates onto her for quite a while now. But she's not scared because being alpha-fem she can fight just as good as her brother and make sure none of them mark her as theirs. Then ... her brother decides to give her a taste of her own medicine and calls a "hunt." That is where all the unmated females in the pack run out into the woods, then minutes later all of the eligible unmated males in the pack chance after them, and whoever claims the female first is mated for life. Shannon wants none of it or the wolves that decide on following her, but when they close in, she tries to fight them off. Thankfully her brother watches the fight to make sure no one gets seriously hurt, yet unfortunately after the fights her brother decides on chancing her off out of his territory and into the wolf territory in the next town, where he believes she'll find a good mate for her while still keeping good standing in the pack which he runs.
The good news is Shannon finds her true mate! The bad news is Nikolai is a vampire! Will she accept his wanting to mate with her? And if so, is she willing to give up everything she knows and loves to do so?
My Book Review : 4 out of 5 stars! I really like how this book was portrayed! Great characters! And I loved the plot!
Book Teaser :
"Yes, I'm on the Pill."
"You have to come off of them."
Her mouth dropped open, and she bit back the urge to rail at him. Did he understand what he was asking her to do? "Alex, you know I can't do that, especially not now." If she did, she might as well lie down in the street naked and hang a sign around her neck that said FUCK ME. ~ within Chapter 3
