For those who aren't familiar with Elizabeth City. Then I'll start by saying that in the downtown district is a Mariners Wharf, basically a park to the rest of the town, but to boaters it is a nice place to stay free for 48 hours on there way to their next adventure. And around this time in October every year we start seeing the docks slips becoming full of boaters heading south for the winter. It is really a sight to witness, as you can see in the photo below.
Two days ago boaters Skip & Kathleen pulled into the Elizabeth City slips on their 1930's Schooner called the Mistress. It is a gorgeous boat inside and out, I had to take some pictures of it.

On Wednesday, October 23rd Skip & Kathleen dressed up their boat with it's flags. To their request they asked if they could borrow an Elizabeth City flag to put onto their boat, which I was able to get for them.
