Rose Bud's are here to stay!
Today I helped out my other job (at the Elizabeth City Area CVB) by creating a logo for them! About 3 months ago I did up a video of Elizabeth City's Rose Buddies. For that video I created my own logo for them since as far as I knew at that time they didn't have one of their own. So, yesterday when my boss (the director of tourism) talked about having a logo for the Rose Buddies ... I told him about mine. And after some editing today ... I have now created their official logo!! I'm so happy with myself!

From Me to You ... Video, Photography, & Book Reviews created this video during a time when Jess (the creator) worked for the Elizabeth City Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB).
Elizabeth City's Rose Buddies have been around since the 1980s, a tradition started by Fred Fearing and Joe Kramer. In recent years the Elizabeth City Area CVB took over hosting the parties and this video is of Dave Thomas (head Rose Buddy at the time who has now passed away) explaining about the ICW and what new boaters will expect.
Well ... I am an honorary "Rose Buddy" since I work for the Elizabeth City Area Convention & Visitors Bureau. So, this past Wednesday, May 7th, my boss asked me to take some photos of the Wine & Cheese party that the Rose Buddies put on for the boaters. During this time I also had videotaped part of it .... and above is a Promo Clip to show everyone.
