Rose Bud's are here to stay!
Today I helped out my other job (at the Elizabeth City Area CVB) by creating a logo for them! About 3 months ago I did up a video of Elizabeth City's Rose Buddies. For that video I created my own logo for them since as far as I knew at that time they didn't have one of their own. So, yesterday when my boss (the director of tourism) talked about having a logo for the Rose Buddies ... I told him about mine. And after some editing today ... I have now created their official logo!! I'm so happy with myself!

ECACVB 2008 Co-Op Campaign - Albemarle Hospice Regatta
This video is for the Co-Op Campaign I'm doing through the ECACVB (my other job). And it's promoting the Albemarle Hospice Regatta. The only problem is the event is coming up and the radio spot I was planning on adding into it was not available yet, so I'm creating two videos for them one without the radio spot and one with. Today I uploaded some more photos to my Photo Gallery!!I started a new listing called 2008-2009 Co-Op Campaign Photography. In this listing I have photography for 4 of the Campaign Participants, which are listed in the categories: Carolina Cup Regatta, Downtown Waterfront Market, Harbor Arts Festival, and the Juneteenth Celebration. So, if you were either involved with the on of the events or just like to see the photography that was taken .. then please click here.
In addition, I uploaded the photos I took on the 4th of July and other shots, and put them into the North Carolina section. The photo category is: Elizabeth City, and the sub-categories are: Holiday Events and Flowers/Landscapes.

Busy as a Beaver
Hello everyone,
I know I should have at least 3 new videos up by now but I have gotten busy again.
The Advertising/Marketing Co-Op Campaign that the Elizabeth City Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (at my other job) has started up the beginning of this month. So, I have been busy trying to get things in order for the almost 30 videos I'll be creating for that. I have currently been working on the video for that office as the "Elizabeth City" video ... and after a few more changes you should be able to see what it looks like.
Also, I got my first job recently!! I'm going to be taking photography for a wedding happening on August 8, 2008. And the bride is being very sweet in allowing me to use the photography taking and making a video out of it. So, in about another month or so you'll be able to see that.

Award for Ron Paul Video!
If you haven't heard the news then I thought I would tell you on here ... the Elizabeth City Area Convention & Visitors Bureau won an "Innovation Award, in the category of “Best Bureau Local Stakeholder Relations,” was shared with the Albemarle Economic Development Commission (AEDC) for a joint public relations campaign promoting Elizabeth City’s headquarters as the launch for the Ron Paul blimp." (taken from the ECACVB's latest press release) Part of the credit of "promoting Elizabeth City" as the headquarters is because of the video that I created and let my office use. I am very honored about this award.
In addition, my office (the ECACVB) won another Innovation Award for the free websites/blog that I have put together to get our word out more. Which definitely is an accomplishment since I spend quite a lot of time working on them.
