On November 6, 2008 in the Museum of the Albemarle's Auditorium, the Elizabeth Area Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Museum of the Albemarle held a Civil War Trails Marker Dedication/Unveiling Ceremony in honor of six historical markers that were recently placed around the Downtown Area in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
I don't know about you .... but I am soo excited because it's snowing outside right now! As I may have mentioned before .. for the past 3 1/2 years I have lived in Elizabeth City it has never snowed in November! We usually only get one snow fall a year and that is in January ... during the middle of the night .. when no one gets to see it. But this morning my husband left early for work .. then came back in to wake me up because of the snow. I'm soo happy!! As it definitely makes me feel the holiday spirit in the air!!!! =0)
