So ... this "holiday" video is a little different because .... I am now aware (more so than ever before) about how Thanksgiving is not really a wonderful holiday to celebrate. HOWEVER, if you are celebrating it ONLY for family traditions and being truly thankful for what you have in life than ... lets celebrate! Therefore, most of the JibJab clips are music videos with our faces attached and while the video's cover has three tiny pilgram hats that is all the pilgrams you will be seeing. Basically what I am saying is WATCH THE VIDEO because it is FOR EVERYONE even those who dislike this American holiday. Watch. Enjoy! Comment your thoughts.
Also ... just to be clear ... though I DO love the song "I am dancing too" I do want it to be known that it was my kids that chose that song because my 9 yr old & almost 7 yr old thought it was hilarious. 😁

For Christmas 2020 my daughter received a Flying RC Bird Drone Toy from one of her grandparents. Below are two videos of us playing with it when we were outside in January of 2021. As you can tell from both videos -- the sweet reaction video and the video where girly tried to attack me with her toy -- we enjoyed ourselves with it ... at least until it flew off into our neighbors yard never to be seen again a few months later. 😆 🤣
On April 15th 2010 there was a Tax Day Tea Party held at Waterfront Park in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. This is a video showing you the highlights of that event. The MC was Keith Radke, one of the events organizers. The Speakers were: Kory Swanson of the John Locke Foundation, John Woodard - Candidate for the NC House of Representatives, Brian Balfour of the Civitas Institute, and Jerry Grimes - Candidate for US Congress (NC-1).
Here's a collage of the photos I took:
Within the next few days I'll be uploading the full speeches of Kory Swanson, John Woodard, Brian Balfour, & Jerry Grimes onto my YouTube acct so keep checking back here to find out if they are viewable yet!

Soo ... since September 2013 I have had a different blog called Jessica's Adventures in Cooking and Baking because at that point I had become a stay-at-home mother of almost two kids and though I did not enjoy cooking (still don't) yet I enjoy baking (still do) I felt the need to record some of my successes, failures, and just random food treat thoughts that I had along the way. Below is a video that I probably should have shared over on that blog instead of this website/blog but felt inclined to share it here anyways. Technically "my vision" for this video is not what this turned out to be ... actually I like how it turned out more. Yet I'll be the first to admit this is NOT my best video creation ... but I have had these sequence photos since 2016 when this video idea was created and after recently watching an article about how I should be the one to "publish my stuff not just finish it" here you go ...
This video is for the Co-Op Campaign I'm doing through the ECACVB (my other job). And it's promoting the Albemarle Hospice Regatta. The only problem is the event is coming up and the radio spot I was planning on adding into it was not available yet, so I'm creating two videos for them one without the radio spot and one with. Check it out:
Albemarle Home Care, Albemarle Hospice, Albemarle Hospice Regatta Committee and the Pasquotank River Yacht Club are hosting the 1st Annual Albemarle Hospice Regatta on Saturday, August 23rd 2008. From Me to You ... Video, Photography, & Book Reviews created this video of South Mills, NC's Dismal Swamp Visitors Center in 2008.
About the Dismal Swamp Visitors Center: A unique hydraulic arm bridge that spans the Dismal Swamp Canal allows access to the Dismal Swamp State Park. Boaters along the canal have 'right of way' which may cause some delay in pedestrians crossing the bridge. The visitor center/exhibit hall, restrooms and parking are handicap accessible.
