Website

Today I'm trying to get used to all of the behind the scenes of putting together a website. So, far so good. But It's a slow process. Hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon.

On Monday I'm planning on Registering the business name with the Register of Deeds office here in Pasquotank County. Then I have to see if I have/need and licenses/permits ... then I need to get a business tax ID.

Fun stuff. Wish me luck!

New Additions!!!

Today has been a very productive day! I have bought a new domain name, so I can start creating my website!!! Also, I have created my first of many Sample Videos!!! This one was made to look at "Friend" Videos .... you can use something like this for Reunions, Graduations, Holidays, etc.

Official!

Well ... I just got my tax id from the IRS!! All I have to do now is fill out my permit/license and I'll be completely official!!

Port Discover's What Will You Do, Dr. Goo?

On Friday, July 2, 2010 I filmed Port Discover & Arts of the Albemarle's Center Players' performance called 'What Will You Do, Dr. Goo?'

Performance Description: It's an original play written and directed by Cheryl Blackwelder. About when Dr. Goo is given a secret formula by his arch nemesis, Ms. Evil, the good doctor must use the Scientific Method to save himself before he is turned into...a Flubbity-Wubber! The program was designed especially for elementary-aged scientists and presented by the middle and high school members of the Center Players.

Bayeux Tapestry
A colourful and vivid telling of the Norman conquest of England on a 230 foot long embroidered cloth. There are many unique figures and Latin phrases that adorn it. The most vivid scene depicts the Battle of Hastings.


Rucellai Madonna by Duccio
An excellent example of chiaroscuro, this piece is three-dimensional, making the throne upon which Mary sits with infant Jesus seem solid. Jesus appears to have some weight. Mary appears to be a full bodied figure, and not flat like other period works depict the human form.

Our Website is Uploaded!

Well .... I have registered our business name and in a little while we will be getting our tax id! And I found out where I need to go for permits. And I have just loaded our new website!!!! I'm in the process of finishing it up but I'm soo happy!!
