My Book Summary : Financial expert Andrea is rushing home to Churchville, PA (also known as Amish Country), to help her family and their inn they are trying to start up. She has been against the idea of the inn from the beginning, but with her younger sisters recent hit-and-run accident she has to help out, and being the oldest sister that means she needs to take charge.

However, once she gets there she finds her grandmother loves having her there, wants her to help with the inn as much as she can, but doesn't want Andrea to help with their financial struggles. In addition, she finds out that some people in the community really don't want the inn to be operational and might try to have it so the inn never opens at all costs.

To top it all off Andrea meets Cal, her grandmother's tenant, who is living and works in the renovated barn behind the inn and he's keeping his own secrets....

My Book Review : 3 out of 5 stars! I wasn't expecting to like this book when I started reading it but I was pleasantly surprised! The plot was very well written. Good characters.

They hadn't thought they needed to where there were no outbuildings to be broken into. Maybe the intruder's goal wasn't the outbuildings. Maybe it was the house itself. ~ within Chapter 6

If I’m asking you to hold me tight - then it’s gonna be all right

Witty & Hilarious .. "Playing James" by Sarah Mason is everything I could hope for and more!! Holly is a up-and-coming reporter, who just got her big break! James is a cop, who takes his line of work very seriously .... hates reporters ... and is about to get married in 6 weeks time .... and just got assigned Holly to play his shadow up until the day he says "I do." Tempers start flying ... situations get misread ... and when Holly's column becomes a big hit the readers start questioning if there's more between the reporter and the detective then they both are letting on??

5 out of 5 stars!! LOVED IT!! It's up beat! Fast paced! With plenty of twists thrown in just to make you second guess how you think the story will end! =0)

Everyone is searching for their own happily-ever-after whether they believe so or not .... "Casting Spells" by Barbara Bretton ... characters are just doing the same. However, Chloe is a half-human half-sorcerer who hasn't fallen into her powers at all ... but has a town who is in need of her guidance. As the town has been protected for over 300 years from outsiders prying eyes is finally falling into their own cracks and everyone is hoping she will make it all better. But when an outsider dies in their town .... a cop moves in to find out if it was an accident or a murder??? Will Chloe be able to get him out town without anything being noticeable?? Or will he find out more then he's supposed to?

4 out of 5 stars. The story was written in a diary kinda form from both Luke and Chloe's sides. It kept me rapt in what was going on and I couldn't put it down!

"Dead and Gone" by Charlaine Harris, everybody wants a piece of Sookie these days ... Some fae want her dead. Quinn and Bill want to be her lover/boyfriend again. The government want to find out how she knew where people were after the bombing happened, and once they know they'd like to use her for themselves. Eric wants her all to himself without asking her for permission first. And more ....

5 out of 5 stars. I really liked this book ..... it was more along the lines of letting the readers know about the details instead of the action itself ... but it brought all of the multiple stories that this series has into play and I really liked it! Sookie isn't completely her brave self in this one .... actually she's mostly out of it .... and because of that I can't wait to find out with will happen next.

We are family, Get up ev'rybody and sing ...

Family is coming out of the woodwork for Sookie in "From Dead To Worse" by Charlaine Harris, which is part of her Sookie Stackhouse series. Old to young distant relatives are becoming not so distant anymore for Sookie, who is enjoying it her now growing family .... although secret as they may be. Quinn goes missing ... or takes off ... depending on who's opinion you take, with no word. Jason and Crystal stir up their own trouble ... but of course drag Sookie in to deal with it. Alcide's pack is in the middle of a were war. Another vamp King wants to take over Louisiana. And Sookie doesn't stick to what she says in the previous book, "All Together Dead", which was if she stays away from the supernatural then she'd be fine. But things are looking up for her ......

5 out of 5 stars!!! I loved how all the relationships went. Eric. *happy sigh* And I love that she's finding out new relatives now .... but I hope one of them isn't trying to use her. =0/ If you haven't read it yet then you better! =0)

In "All Together Dead" by Charlaine Harris from her Sookie Stackhouse series .... The time has come for the long-planned vampire summit, where she has to attend as part of the Queen of Louisiana's group. Her job during her time there is to help the Queen know who is lying to her and who isn't .... as well as attend the Queen's trial about her husbands death. But soon Sookie finds that the hotel they're staying at isn't as secured as well as she hoped ..... who is she saving now? or how will she do it?

I wish I could write more but I would give quite a bit away by doing so. But I really liked this story ... 4 out of 5 stars.

Down in the boondocks ...

In "Definitely Dead" by Charlaine Harris from her Sookie Stackhouse series .... We find out that Sookie's cousin, Hadley, is dead dead. Meaning in one day Sookie found out that at some point Hadley had been turned into a vampire but she was now killed, and she had left all of her possessions to Sookie. Who also learns that Hadley had been on of the Queen of Louisiana's fave vampires. So Sookie goes down to New Orleans to clean out and box up Hadley's apt. When she gets there she finds that things are not always what they seem (as usual) ......

As of now what I think of some of the characters....
Bill - ASSHOLE!!!!!! You'll find out why in chapter 15.

Eric - Caring to Sookie (even when he doesn't want to be). A true friend. Loyal.

Quinn - Sookie's current boyfriend. Were-tiger. Muscleman. Sweet.

Amelia - A witch. Ditsy. Opinionated. A new friend.

Claudine - Sweet. Happy. Loving. Sookie's fairy-godmother.

Sophie-Anne - Queeny. A user.

Debbie's family - CRAZY!!!!!

Rasul - Queen's employee. Another new vamp friend.
This book I give it 5 out of 5 stars!
