Needing another vamp fix ... well we're back to Bones his "Kitten" in "At Grave's End" (part of the Night Huntress series) by Jeaniene Frost. It was good and definitely started off as such. Especially with the revenge/come back of Max (Cat's father). Yet Max is only the beginning ....
Again ... good book ... yet the first 2 books were better. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. It started out really well .. but towards the end it kind of felt like a filler book. *shrug* I dunno ... hopefully the next book will get better. *crossing fingers*

Past secrets finally come out in "Stargazer" (part of the Evernight series) by Claudia Gray. While Bianca tries to find out the secrets that Ms. Bethany is keeping (like why she decided on admitting human students to Evernight Academy) .... other secrets of hers and those about her come into play. Lucas and her romance try to make it through during their separation the best way they can. But when friends find out what Bianca has been up to are they willing to help her out or will they turn against her? And will their romance last or will they ended up like Romeo and Juliet?
3.5 out of 5 stars. This one had a lot more background plot on the characters which I liked. Yet now they've definitely made it like it's Lucas and Bianca against everyone (both sides of their families) which can be good and bad. But the book ends right when it's building up to something new ... so I'm really curious as to what the next book, "Hourglass", will have in store!! Good series ... cannot wait to see what happens!

When they assume nothing could get worse, Bianca and Lucas are tossed into the middle of another battle between both sides, then the Black Cross captures one of their friend’s as a prisoner, and they know it’s time to try to make it on their own. Luckily, some friends from low places help them here-and-there to get by. Yet since Bianca had decided never to become a full vampire they are still wondering what will happen to her now, especially as changes to her are slowly happening, it looks like they wont have to wait long to find the answer...
4 out of 5 stars! This is a great sequel to "Stargazer"! It had me laughing and crying when I least expected it. Bianca and Lucas are the epitome of Romeo and Juliet, and that made all the scenes that more enchanting to read. In addition, the novel has a great balance of the humor and serious sides of the storyline that make you want to keep reading. I just couldn't get enough and I can't wait until "Afterlife" comes out!!

My Book Review : 4 out of 5 stars! The book was more then I could have hoped for!! Entertaining and ACTION PACKED! The characters were awesome! Well, except the mother was a bitch and her sister was a little annoying. *hehee* What will it be .... Val & Dan? Or Val & Shade? I think I'll be happy with either right now. =0)

"Try Me" [The Demon Underground Series, Book 2] by Parker Blue
My Book Summary : Val is back on the streets of San Antonio helping keep the peace between the vampires and demons, while protecting the humans. However, since released Lola fully for the first time she has been told to take some time off so she'll be able to get more control of herself. Thankfully, Micah is planning to help her accomplish that, and a little or more help from Shade too.
But when powerful Encyclopedia Magicka becomes stolen time off comes to a halt. Not that Val's complaining since she was getting bored anyways, but once she returns to work .... it seems that everyone there is out to get her. To top that off her partner, Dan, is being a jerk to her for some unknown reason and he seems to be trying to avoid her at all cost.
As she goes into searching for the books ... things start happening again to those around her .... but will she be able to find them before anything really bad happens?
My Book Review : 3.5 out of 5 stars! I really liked this book! However, it had more twists then I expected, NOT that I'm complaining since I was addicted right up until the end! I LOVE the thing going on between Shade and Val!! And I'm really curious as to where and what Val will be doing now that this latest "situation" has come up (which you'll find out at the very end of the book). I did like the depth that the author brought to the characters more so then just Val (like last time).
