My Book Summary : Dr. Jane Darlington really wants to have a baby, and on her birthday she makes up her mind to do just that. She plans on seducing Calvin (Cal) Bonner, the Chicago Stars' quarterback, to be her "sperm donor" ... since she wants to have a baby but it can't be just any man. The "sperm donor" type she has in mind won't be quick witted and the more she watches Cal on TV doing an interview she can't help but think she's choosing wisely, specially with that Southern drawl.
The seduction goes as planned .... and a while after she PREGNANT! YAY! But her plans change when someone spills her plans and her pregnancy to Cal and he is determined to be in his child's life ..... along with getting revenge for what she has done to him.
Now for the woman who just wanted a baby .... without having the "sperm donor" in the picture and wanting it without any legal, financial, or custody situation from Cal ..... she now finds herself in a mess of trouble, married to Cal so the baby won't be born legitimate (even though the plan is to divorce when the baby is born), and living with Cal in his hometown of Salvation, North Carolina.
What else could go wrong? How about finding out that Cal isn't as dim-witted as she suspected, so much so that he actually graduated college at the top grades. Or how about the fact that she has to make sure that everyone hates her so when they get a divorce no one will be sorry to see her go ....
What will she do to get through this mess??
My Book Review : 3.5 out of 5 stars. I love this series! And by reading the description at first I wasn't sure I would like it. However, I was happily mistaken! "
Nobody's Baby But Mine" was sweet, funny, fast paced, and just a plan ol' great read!! It definitely lived up to the mark of all of the other books in this series I've read!
