Well, she thought Colin would look pretty good on camera too. Emily tensed. Damn. They really needed to talk, to clear the air.

Emily turned at Darla's call. Found the woman making a beeline straight for her. Jake tagged along in her wake.
Darla paused two feet away from her. A smug smile curved her lips. "I've got a few questions for you."
Colin stepped forward. "She's done talking about the case."
"Umm, well, it's not about the case. Not really."
At her Cheshire cat look, Emily got a very, very bad feeling in her gut. "What do you want to know?" ~ within Chapter 9
"We can't worry about that now." I shook off his hand. "The scepter is more important. Besides, that's what I have you for." I smiled at him, and turned to Ironhorse. "All right, Ironhorse. We have a deal. Take us to the scepter."
"Finally." Grimalkin stood and stretched, bottlebrush tail curling over his back. "You make decisions as slowly as you answer Summonings, human. I do hope this will not become a habit."
"Wait. You're coming, too? Why?"
"I am bored." Grimalkin waved his tail languidly. "And you are always entertaining...except when I am waiting for you to arrive, of course. Besides, the lieutenant and I have business, as well." ~ within Chapter 10
He never told her his secret. Guilt threaded itself around his heart. First thing tomorrow, he'd confess. She did say nothing would drive her away from him. God, he hoped she really meant those words.
He pulled her closer and buried his nose in her hair.
The scent soothed him and his beast. She smelled like his. No other way to describe it. So much for keeping his beast under wraps, it liked Spice as much as he did. For once, they agreed on something. ~ within Chapter 5
Sculpture
Anish Kapoor is an exceedingly esteemed contemporary sculptor. His is most renowned for Cloud Gate, a steel, elliptical sculpture located in Millennium Park, Chicago, Ill. He is currently working on a public sculpture Temenos with Cecil Balmond which is expected to be completed by 2011.

Performance Art
Cai Guo-Qiang is known for his “artistically choreographed shows incorporating fireworks and other pyrotechnics.” He represented China in the 1999 Venice biennial and is one of his homeland’s most respected artists. Until January 2011, his work ‘Cai Guo-Qiang: Travels in the Mediterranean’ will be showcased in the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Nice, France.
